First of all, if you understood the meaning of fascism rather than just simply having copied the word from a favorite lunatic website, it would be evident that fascist leanings are far more applicable to the left. Also, it is the left which has come up with "progressive" , "forward thinking", "enlightened"--anything to avoid the term "liberal." And for good reason. A liberal has been accurately described as someone who favors the authority of the government over the rights of the people. A conservative--a "right-winger" --believes the people should have authority over the government. The American people have "rightly" judged the left to be very wrong in its belief and consequent agenda. Wrong and dangerous to the well being of the nation and its citizens. That's why you folks have been running from the "L" word for the past decade or two. The truth can be deadly. And fortunately, its all that's necessary to expose the lunacy, hypocrisy and shamelessness of the left.

What are you talking about? We conservatives are proud members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy! How dare you try to take the title away from us.
How is this? I am Proud to be a Right Winger! Proud, I tell you!
Hmmm. I was wondering, has Hillary, Obama , Edwards or any of the Democrats running for president embraced the title "liberal" or "left winger" or are they still hiding behind the "Progressive" title?
Once again, my YA brothers and sisters, the left takes a page out of the socialist propaganda handbook and accuses their opponents of the very acts they are themselves doing.
BTW- fascism is another form of socialism not conservatism. The Nazi's were the National Socialist Party. The Central Government controlled everything, it was totalitarian, the way left wingers like it.
Be ever vigilant for this ploy.

I'm not sure what your talking about... I'm pretty proud of being in the "right"wing, it sure beats being in the "wrong" wing. I have scoured the conservative platform, and have yet to any fascist policy. But I was looking for things like censorship, but the fairness doctrine was already taken. So I searched for treason, but, alas, that was taken also.
So please enlighten me, where are the fascist policies? Oh yeah, I suppose you gonna call protecting our borders fascist, like all the liberal media freaks do.

For the same reasons that "liberals" now call themselves progressives. And if you want to see fascists look at Democrats that try to stop the military from voting. Send union stormtroopers into Republican HQ. Try and run Republican candidates off the road. Slash the tires of vehicles that are going to be sent to pick up voters. The list can go on but you get my drift. The only people using Fascist tactics are the same people supporting Hillery and Obama.

nope, I have no idea where you get the impression Conservatives are afraid to be called right wing, because I use the term liberally in political discussions with my friends, and have no qualms referring to my self as such.
so you question is moot.
I am right wing, and make no apologies for it.

I'm not ashamed. I am a proud right winger! Why on the other hand are liberals always changing their title to new ones such as moderates, or progressives? Who's ashamed again?

No one like to be pigeon holed. Terms like right and left wing, "Bleeding heart liberal: and "Conservative nut job" connotate images that are easily demonized. Who wants to embrace a negative stereotype that they don't agree with?
