In either instance, the murderer is trying to avoid prosecution by fleeing the country. That in and off itself is discusting. It's bad enough you took someone's life.. now you want to coward around and not be caught! I also think that in either case, that person should be brought to trial in the place they commited the crime.. if a jury finds you not guilty... then by all means.. run away and live someplace else. I also think it's unfair that an illegal alien gets support from their home country and won't cooperate in extraditing back to the US to stand trial.

I fail to see a distinctive difference in the two scenarios. I don't think it matters where the murderer was born and raised or where the murderer flees to after the crime. The important facts are the same in both scenarios: a heinous murder was committed and the murderer fled from prosecution.

In my opinion they are the exactly the same. No better or worse they both committed a crime and were too cowardly to face the consequences. Yes the illegal immigrant was there illegally however that isn't really a factor. If im a card holding visitor at a country club and I decide to kill someone on that property does that really make me any better than the guy who just came in a shot someone?
