How fresh was it?
Semen can only live for a few hours, so if it was a long time, you're fine.
How long have you been on your period?
For the first year or so it's likely that your periods will be irregular.
EDIT: Oh man, it's terrifying how uninformed people are.
Yes, you CAN get pregnant from sitting on a toilet seat IF the seat has ejaculate on it that is less than a few hours old, and the semen comes in contact with your vulva (the area around your vagina).
Fresh air does not kill sperm.

Ashley, I don't believe that you are pregnant from just sitting on a toilet seat with semen on it. Your brother is nasty and should learn to have more respect for himself and you by cleaning up after himself.
If you are excited and come into contact with semen you can get pregnant in this situation. (During sexual intercourse, almost all penises pre-ejaculate (leak fluid) before ejaculation. The pre-ejaculate is very concentrated with sperm and nutrients and can easily travel up the vagina and fertilize an egg after it comes in contact with the vulva.) The chances of pregnancy are somewhat less than completely unprotected sex, but it still is a possibility. I've included the website where you can ask questions to professionals.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Sperm does not die outside of the body that is a rumor. Do not believe that. It can live up to 3 days

That's impossible to happen, if you are pregnant, its either
from someoneelse you had sex with, or you are banging
your brother(incest)) Sperm cells don't stay alive very long
in air and lose their motility, (ability to travel effectively).
That cell would have to crawl around your *** and up your
vagina, through your cervix and down your fallopian tube.
Like I said impossible! OLIVIA you need to read up
on reproductive physiology. Sperm travel in a moist
medium, the vagina, Also during sex, the vagina helps to
propel sperm upward along with the flagelate on the sperm
cell that helps it swim toward the cervix. You would have to
get the semen inside the girls introitus, that's the hole,
in order for this to happen. She already said the semen
was on her butt. I'm sure she cleaned it off, and not
rub it into her vagina. When last have you heard a woman
getting pregnant from a toilet seat. If that's the case
why don't we guys just ejaculate on the tampons or the kotex
napkins and randomly knock a few girls up.
PS How many of you guys work in the kotex factory?

It's possible, but highly unlikely.
Question
How long does sperm live once it's in the open-air?
Answer
How long sperm can live in the open-air depends on the situation, what kind of environment it's in and how much sperm is present. But, on average, sperm can't live for much longer than a few hours in the open-air. It's important to remember that if sperm is inside a women's body, it can survive for up to seven days.
There is a risk of pregnancy if sperm comes into contact with the vagina in any way including from sperm on fingers. If you think that sperm may have come into contact with your vagina within the last five days, and you don't want to get pregnant, you should seek advice on emergency contraception as soon as possible.
If you think you might be pregnant, for example, if your period is late, you can get a urine test done to find out for sure. Most pregnancy tests state that they work as soon as a period is late. If you don't have a regular cycle it can be difficult to know when your period is due, so it's best to take the test three weeks after having unprotected sex (as this is roughly how long it will take for the hormone levels to show up on the test).
You can get a free pregnancy test from:
* Your local Brook Centre (under 25s only);
* Your local family planning clinic;
* Some local doctors (GPs).

This cannot happen, it's a scientific fact that you can't get pregnant without the act of sex. Semen can't live outside the body after it's discharged. If you missed your period then you are actively having sex and you should be honest and talk to your mother about this so this you can get the proper care that you need. Also don't lie to yourself about this, you know if you sexually active, and if you think you can get pregnant this way then you need to get the right information on how you have safe sex!
You are 13 yrs. old and have your life ahead of you and you have plenty of time when you get married to have sex. Be honest with yourself and your parents, it the best thing for you and your baby. Don't abort either, there are plenty of adoption agencies that will take care of that helpless baby if you are pregnant. Please stop having sex too!!!

The semen cannot (impossible) crawl up from the toilet seat and get into your vagina and go all the way up the fallopian tube and into your ovaries, or whatever road they have to go to finally, seminate your eggs. It has enough trouble, dealing with millions of other sperm cells to impregnate you. The sperm will die before it even tries, let alone being deposited waaayy inside your body and then have to deal with the survival of having to fight its way into the egg itself. You are okay, if what you wrote is the only thing you have to worry about. I thought one time that if I kissed someone, I would get pregnant. Go to school, read, learn, you will know more about your body and what you could do to avoid having to worry about grown up things.

No. His fresh semen would have to be in direct touch with the opening of your vagina for there to be any chance of you getting pregnant, and that's not going to happen just sitting on a toilet seat with your vulva suspended in midair. Even if he ejaculated directly into the opening of your vagina, it still wouldn't be certain that you'd get pregnant, although the possibility would be there.

Chances are... if you sat on the toilet seat, the semen got on ur butt or thigh not inside your vagina... I wouldnt worry too much about it, the fact that your stressed is probably causing your period to be late.
PS. Tell ur brother to clean up after himself cuz that is nasty!
