Can I play games on celeron processors which is 1.6ghz,80GB hard disk drive,512MB ram?plz tell me & also I want to know what is the santa platform?plz give answer in detail regarding these questions.

Celeron processors based on Dothan, Yonah and Conroe L are FAST Celerons and differ greatly with the old Celerons. The old ones are just severely castrated forms of the Pentiums. Better increase RAM to 1Gb because part of that 512mb will be shared with integrated graphics. You can play many online games on your laptop.

First thing, it would help to give more details in your question, like what games you want to play, for example, 3D games or others. Usually celeron processors are not the best for gaming compared their p4 counterpart, but your processor should be decent on most games that do not require lots of AI "artificial inteligance" or complex physics. The main component for gaming is your Video/graphics card. I can answer your question a little better if you provide what video card you have, and if it is integrated or not.

You can play small flash player games and some 3D games like project IGI ,older version of NFS game on your PC.
Most of the recent games now need more than 512 MB RAM .In order to play such games you increase page files (Acts as RAM) on your drives.
You can do it by this.
Open my computers properties.Under Advanced tb in Performance section click on 'Settings'.Then click on'Advanced' then under 'Virtual memory' click 'change' and increase your PCs page files.
Usually make page files on empty drives.(But erase on system drive).Don't scatter in on many drives.
You can also install Directx 9 for accelerating your graphics.After installing this type dxdiag in run then you can enable acceleration of your graphics card.
Or you can buy new graphics card of nvdia which usually do best than normal graphics card.

depending upon the needs of game you'll play. but with 512 MB ram... often times yes you can play. But gamers often need more than enough video memory.
If you like it better with full graphics capabilities, install some AGP cards. they come in 128, 512,1g ram memory.
