Bessa is a cute name when she is younger. You must consider when she is older. Picture when she is 40. Can you picture her name Bessa? Maybe Bella or Becka

I like Bessa, but I don't think it flows well with the last name. Too many "s" sounds together. How about Bella Sithia or Bessa Lyn or Bessa Lee or Bessa Jane Sithia. You would need something in between Bessa and Sithia.

I don't like nicknames as first names -- let her have Elizabeth as a first name, and just call her Bessa for short. That way when she's older she has something more professional to use in the workplace.

Bessa isn't a name I would choose for my daughter. I personally think it sounds like something you'd name a cow. Even Betsy would be better. What do you think of the name Vanessa?

If you're asking for an opinion, sorry, I don't like it. But, I'm sure not everyone likes the names I picked, so it's obviously a matter of opinion.
