I would probably ask him which of the neighbors dogs he likes best. He would probably tell me he is not too particular because he is a "dog". Then I would ask him if he would like for me to arrange a date for him with any of them or something. He would tell me, he is fine since he knows how to get out of the yard whenever he needs to, but that I didn't hear it from him.

I have turtles...I'd be like "Hey."
And then they'd be like "Hey."
And I'd say "Those shells...are they comfortable?"
And they'd say "Yeah, yeah, they are...aren't you nervous? Y'know, with all your...stuff just OUT there, unprotected?"
And then talks would probably break down.
