Housing Dilema...?

Question

We have a friend who lost his apartment, he needed a place so my best friend took him in...

So today our mutual friend who I'll just call X, apparently goes to my roommate's job and tells him how my best friends house had no electricity and how its hell to live with him and he must must must move in with him (and I) He also said he could not even tell it to my friend face because he disappeared to Mexico and dint even tell him that everything was disconnected (electricity, water).

However my best friend just got to town with his mother and sister and called me right away to tell me his electricity was disconnected, Apparently X form of rent was the electricity bill. had i seen X? Was everything ok? The water was not disconnected that was a lie, and also why my friends dog outside with no food/water in Phoenix, Az heat.

Its not going to end well, but what would be the best way to put everything in the open with my roommate. The last thing i want is to appear sneaky. Thanks.

Really its inbetween him and the "bestfriend" room-mate, he did a very immature thing by bring you into the diliema. Which shows me that X isn't exactly an all together person, with that said, you need to do him a favor and cut him of the tit, as we call it. In other words don't baby him, get you, him, best-friend, all together and if you guys want to play good semaritian, then feel free to take him on, if not, leave this guy be, being someone's friend means NOT putting up with there stupidity, its about slappin them for being stupid, and huggin them when they do good, don't confuse the two. Starting to look like he got kicked out, lost it, doesn't have a place to stay because of HIMSELF not because the world is unfair, so don't treat it like that. Really not the behaviour of a mature, responsible, respectful individual.....
