and just how has the patriot act affected you in your personal life? I would venture to say, it has had no affect at all. other than non of your family members have been attacked on American soil. To answer your question, yes. Thank you for being a prime example for context.

I am very disappointed by the low quality of exchange here on the politics.and politics and government. I expected a more scholarly discussion. About all I hear is insults and put downs. There is very little rational, well thought out and full knowledge of the issues of the country. The "tennis match" of lobbing epithets does no good for anybody except the ability to insult anonymously. It is really childish.

Like the Shakespeare play, ' Much ado about nothing'. It is no big deal. There are so many more important things to worry about. Socialized medicine, child abuse, a balanced budget and the coming elections and your worried about one bill that servers a good purpose. Peace

Maybe it's because weak minded, insane (better, inane)liberals like you are allowed to post! After you've copied the standard talking points from Huffington or Media Matters, you don't have anything to say until the next evening.

Clinton was doing worse things than what the patriot act might lead to during his reign as dictator.
I would be very worried about a Hillary Clinton presidency if I was you.

I read too much throughout my life, my brain is pushing on my large cranium.
"the patriot act is watching you"
Not me, I am in the garage, no windows.

I wish they were watching me. It would add some sense of meaning to my mundane and pointless existence to think they cared enough to watch me.
