Please bare in mind this superior peice of muslcal art was performed quite a long time
before freddie mercury passed away
it is in no way meant to be a slur on either queen or freddie mercury ,as a answerer has pointed out every other band was doing cover versions of popular songs back in the early ~mid 90's famous as well as unfamous bands, and im sure if freddy did see it when he was alive and didnt think it appropiate it would not be publicly available ,the bands charachters are based on a spinal tap type theme band
and are rik mayall ,ade edmundson ,nigel planer of the Young ones comedy sitcom in the uk and many many other films and comedy

Eh... It's not really something I'd like as a cover for Bohemian Rhapsody... :\ I mean, people think, Wow, Bohemian Rhapsody is such an amazing song which means that it must be a hard song to play, that's false, it's really creative, but it's not hard to play, just a little hard to figure out sometimes, cause you don't know what chords are inverted, but otherwise, it's an easy song to play, I should know, I can play the song on Piano

Ah! The famous 'The Comic Strip Presents... Bad News'.

I've heard about them, but wasn't old enough to have seen it at the time. I believe they actually played a gig at Castle Donnington, didn't they?

I know it was absolutely appalling, but considering that Queen liked to send themselves up now and again {just look at the video for 'I Want to Break Free'!}, I don't think Freddie would have minded.
