I'm in Cincinnati and we have had record breaking temperatures and a drought this summer. I can't wait for winter, I love snow :-)

I live in Illinois, and yes, I'm glad to see October. I love the weather in the fall along with all of the different colors in the lanscape. However, I DO NOT look forward to what comes next. I would take the 100+ degree weather anyday over the 30 below and knee high snow anyday.

October is just like September which just like August which is just like.... Here is Florida you are glad when it gets below 85. That will not be till Christmas.
For those of you that live farther North do you ever notice the feel of the wind or the smell of the air in fall? I miss that. Maybe I can get out of here and feel that again.

We had a relatively mild summer here in Northern Illinois.
I like all seasons, but if climate change becomes reality, I think I'll build an earth sheltered home.
Saves money, energy and is good for the environment.

Same here. I'm glad to see a little rain falling on the landscape again, too. Everything has gotten too dry.
