Get out and head straight to the administrator's office. Don't fight back. If this actually happened, then the substitute teacher is in a very unfavorable position if he were to be sued.

That is considered assult at let in the district I work. Report it, if this happened. The sub will not be back. I would be put on leave until a determination could be done.
