If you are looking for child care you need to call your local child protection agency. They can refer you to an agency in your area (where you will be covered) that will subsidize your childcare based on your income.

If your child is having developmental issues than you can contact the early intervention center in your district and they can help you find the appropriate help for your child.

Good luck!

Um... early head start.. if you 'qualify'... is funded by the government. And the only other thing you can do is call your local DHS and get their lists of 3 or even 4 star daycares... Or you can go online to look that up. I personally wouldn't let my child attend any daycare lower than a 3 star. And find the highest rated daycares and get on their waiting lists. That's really all you can do, government assistance or no government assistance.... or your could move into their school distract.....
Oh, if you can't afford daycare, then the only option open for you really is to get government assistance or ask a family member or close friend to watch your child. Good luck!

Head start up courses and Pre-kinder courses are great. I do see a distinction between the two. Head start up courses are run by skill of the state on an identical time as Pre-ok courses are run at district point. I actual have observed that scholars from our district's Pre-ok colleges are greater arranged than those that attended Head start up. i think of the reason being our district Pre-ok follows heavily with Kindergarten to coach them greater useful. so as to artwork as a instructor in the two courses you may carry a B.A in Early formative years and carry a certification to instruct Early formative years. instructor aides could have an pals degree.

There are but you gotta check your local yellow pages or yellow pages.com. I wish I could help more but i don't know where you live.

You may also want to look into urban league, they can help with costs if you don't find one that is affordable

You could start by heading to a book store and/or library and picking up a book on child development.
Next you could read the book(s).
Then you could apply the ideas in the book(s).

You are the parent. It is ultimately your job to raise your child, not the school district or the government.
