Nope not for sugar but for MILK! My old friend that lived down the road came over every once in awhile to ask for a cup of milk so she could make macaroni and cheese.

Haha, I am that neighbour that asks for it! I have asked for eggs, sugar , flour, and oil before! <3 I always give them some of what I am making afterwards for giving me what I needed <3

Yep....she's also asked me to help her add minutes to her cell phone (neither of us knew how, so it took a while to figure out). I've asked to borrow milk...it's not that big of a deal. I don't know why we say borrow though...it's not like I bring her back some milk or she gives me back my sugar.

Yes. But not only sugar. My clothes, my food, even my car! But she's my sister so I guess that's a little different. It makes having neighbors fun!

I had a neighbor that used to "borrow" a sixteen foot ladder. i eventually placed it in the basement because of the fact i grow to be afraid he might injury himself. He grow to be 88 and grow to be putting the ladder on precise of a raised container on a truck to trim his timber.

After living here 5 months and my neighbor not being nice at all to us she came over and asked for instant coffee and nutmeg. I was out of nutmeg and we don't use instant coffee.
