Yes I have, but whenever I bring up the subject I'm accused of being a whining B*tch and to shut the hell up because I am white and white people can't be victims of racism.

Yes. There were two pretty long lines leading to two cashiers at Dunkin Donuts. When they were ready for the next person, they would say "How may I help the next person in line" and the customer would come to the cashier. I was next in the line on the right, but a woman of a certain race (and no, she wasn't white) waived for the guy in the left line to come to her cash register. I thought it odd, so I waited to see what would happen next. When her cash register was free again, she called another person from the left line to her cash register. Then, a woman in the left line told the cashier for the right line that I was next for her, not anyone in the left line. I didn't have to say a word for people in both lines to start talking about why she skipped me twice by calling the customers in the left line. I didn't complain or anything, I just resolved not to go back to that particular store again.
I always think about that and wonder if it was something else. I know that she didn't skip me becaue the left line was longer since they both were through the front doors, and it wasn't because she didn't see me since I was standing about 3-5 feet from the cash register (the same as the person she called before me). I also noticed that our line was moving pretty steadily before it was my turn, so I can assume pretty assuredly that she hadn't skipped anyone in the right line before me. Although she didn't use slurs or give me dirty looks, her prejudice by ignoring me was just as bad.

Yes...once....so I am Indian...I was shopping for clothes and I wanted a different size jeans...so I went over to this lady and asked her for a different pair and she just asked me wht I wanted.. a couple of times..with a special tone to it..which I felt weird becoz I think I was very clear.....I just walked off the store and told the person at the counter that they might want to work on their customer service while pointing at the lady who I spoke to earlier. ...and before I could walk off the person at the counter said sorry abt it and personally assisted me to get a pair of jeans.
I have never judged anyone on their skin color, religion or nething different...I wish others felt the same to!...peace..

Unfortunately, as you can see, the majority of answers from society, is yes...just as for me. I personally wonder sometimes if people "use" racism as an "excuse" to either get out of something or to blow situations out of proportion or simply just to redirect attention off them. Others seem to use their own race as a higher authority over other races. I live in the city and there are many races through out, yet you still see racial violence about. For example, I was walking the other night, to cool off from being upset about something. I ran into 2 females walking with a male on his bike. (They were a different race than me, which I won't mention. I don't want to point out any specific race, as this may be mistaken a "racial" attack on that race. Prejudice/racial actions/comments come from just about every race....just wanna give one recent example...) Anyways, the girls, from out of no where, started popping off at the mouth, saying comments about me w/race included.....I didn't know these girls, but either way, I could careless what race someone is, I ain't just gonna take **** from no one, so I defended myselves to these girls. Nothing ended up happening, but this was a classic scenerio of how some people of one race, think they are better than those of another race. Where I live, I guess my race is looked at as the ones who can't fight...boy do they got me F'd up for a whole someone else!!!! Race ain't got **** to do with fighting skills...either way....someone may not be prejudice, yet be racial...weird, I know.

Yes. I'm Latino but people think I'm East Indian. I've been called an illegal, a terrorist, right after 9/11 some people that I went to school with started fussing at me saying, "look what your family has done!!". These people weren't kidding either because they were random strangers in the hallway that were angry about what happened.

a couple times, and like Amy said, you just learn to let it roll off your back. Its actually the reason why I quit my last job. I'm a HUGE advocate of not pulling the race card (since a lot of times people of my race do so--think al sharpton) so it takes a lot for me to do something drastic. People who are like that are 99.999999999% of low intelligence so its not even worth getting mad over, since my goldfish probably has a higher IQ than people like that.
I would also like to say that some of the racism I have encountered has even been from people of MY OWN race telling me that I am "white-washed" so everyone should remember that racism can come from people of EVERY color.
