I got a violation notice for asking
"did you miss me"
i see the "F" word on here and so much nasty ,filthy comments and i get a notice for this . who's tending the Yahoo store? I'm pissed !!

Fair? Well JOIN THE CLUB, m'dear!
The YA Guidelines have a LOT to be desired. They are way too subjective, and some of the rules, such as the one that you got reported for... chatting... are a bunch of HOOEY!
When I see violations, unless they are blatantly vulgar, etc, I will usually post an answer giving them a friendly warning that they are in violation, that I will NOT report them, BUT that some scumbags out there WILL!
I think it is getting totally out of hand! I think that there are some self-appointed Q&A nazis out there who just sit there "violating" people's questions and answers.
My question to YA is... what is so WRONG with a little chat now and then, or even a RANT now and there? Where's the harm?
I have posted a question with suggested changed to be made to the reporting system that would protect the "reportEE" better.

I know how upset you feel. Something has GOT to change if YA doesn't want to LOSE a WHOLE LOTTA users!

it's not fair, but you didn't obey the guidelines.
no chatting with other users.
I agree with you though, there are so many gross display pics, names, and answers plus horrible questions.
There was a question on here asking if it was okay to sleep with a 14 year old girl and the guy was in his 30's.
That question didn't get removed.
Yahoo is not fair and to be honest I'm not sure why people stay on here but I guess we love it despite the violations.
