Barry Manilow (even his name says it all!) has the top three:
1. Looks Like We Made It

This is the guy who penned jingles for Coca-Cola in the early 70's.
Also, whenever I'm listening to the local FM Rock station, and I hear the opening beats to Z Z Top's "Legs" or "Sharp-Dressed Man" - I ALWAYS turn the radio off for the rest of the day. Seriously. Those tunes are THAT BAD.
And, as much as I LOVE Bob Seger, I haven't been able to listen to "Old Time Rock & Roll" for years. It just strikes the wrong nerve.

Great hook, nice chorus, but Don McLean's "American Pie" has the DUMBEST lyrics ever written. The passage about the jester and the marching band alone puts him in the bad songwriter Hall of Fame.

"someone left the cake out in the rain" its so silly & they even sang it a few years back at the christmas carols which was soooo crazy
