Oh, great. Now I'm not going to be able to go to sleep tonight. My breathing is going to keep me awake! As if the creaking of the pillow isn't bad enough already.

After two and 1/2 packs of cigarettes a day, sure I can hear myself. I wheeze like a rusty bellows.

Yes. It helps calm me when I can't sleep. I like listening to myself breathe, especially when it's raining. I also try "telling" my body to go to sleep, starting at the feet and going up; it is sort of "chanted" to myself. It helps me fall asleep really easily without Benadryl.
