i saw the brightest rainbow i have ever seen. It was a weird day. we had sever thunderstorm warnings, it poured on one side of the street and bright and sunny on the other.

No rain here but I did see a praying mantis. Just as amazing and beautiful, I think.
UPDATE on 9/29: We had brief mid-day storms today over the Hudson Valley and a double rainbow after they were over!

I looked out of my back door and there was a double rainbow !
They stretched from one side of the fields to the other burring there 'feet ' in the trees on either end.
The light was brighter between the two and dark on the outside of the higher one giving the effect of a colorful tunnel !!!!
It was magical ! What a TREAT!

My girlfriend was out with her son and they saw a rainbow. She took a picture of it with her cell phone and sent it to me... I could see the rainbow going from the trees into the clouds... it was an incredible photo given the fact it was taken with a cell phone camera.

I saw one too. I have been seeing so much lately. The midwest has been dealing with severe storms pretty much everyday for the last two weeks. The one that I saw today was very faint though, not too bright.
