The story continue, this is the best part! Now we are in a tiney fishing boat, one engine and on a stormy sea, with huge swells. I looked over to see the swells hitting the rocks at an alarming rate ,thrushing out foam, and we were a little nervous. As we sailed on we noticed a beach, with an hotel, and people sitting on the hotel patio. We are both English speaking SA's but we also speak Afrikaans. So, I said to ?Denise, in Afrikaans,"we have to get out of this boat, tell them to pull into this beach". But they did not want to. Eventually we decided to bail out and make a swim for it. We were about 300meters away. We jumped overboard and swam!

There were a bunch of Italian business men having lunch on the patio, and the look on their faces, when they noticed two bilini clad girls emerge from the sea wasCLASSIC! Imagine, two girls just appearing out of the sea! They thought two maddonnas had arrived! All rushed down, throwing their jackets over us, all jabbering away in Italian.

The owners of the hotel, gave us towels to dry ourselves. So there wee were two wet, bedraggled girls, who had popped out of the sea, now sitting at aa table, with Italina men in the Armani suits. We then asked where we were, and they told us we sere in Sorrento! I have still nto worked to this day, how we got from Capri to Sorrento, despite pouring over maps. Anway, the story ended with one of the men offering to take us back to Rom (after they had herd our story). And we were driven The moral here, never go look at a smoking volcano! Hope you all followed it and enjoyed it. to Rome in a Ferrari!

What a rich tale, and what an adventurous lass you were. I hope your spirit is still as adventurous.

I'm not a strong swimmer -- hate to get my face wet -- so my preference is to forgo beaches and head to the hills (as long as they're not smoking!).

I learned something about you. I knew you were on the seniors site, but I had no idea you were a grandma. I just thought you were another young thing checking in on us old folks.

I do believe in them because those those who talked about a mermaid couldn't make it up, might want to they? If u imagine so u r incorrect because no one is going to assert "oh.... enable's make something up .......yh, mermaids and those issues are........1/2 fish 1/2 human." How might want to u imagine the guy who made up the lie idea-about it in first position .It does no longer pop in his or her ideas resembling that .So i imagine they ought to have seen something formerly they informed human beings.they ought to have seen something unusual which known like a mermaid. And explaining why they don't ensue is worry-free to describe yet might want to be no longer the rationalization in the adventure that they exist (this is my opinion) they're scared to reveal themselfes because human beings might want to placed them in a zoo or scientists might want to pass after the mermaid or merman to ascertain their skeleton or their way of respiratory or what ever they prefer to look at.So if i replaced into mermaid I wouldn`t tell every person to stay secure. The Earth has 13 land and 23 ocean and scientist did not seem everywhere interior te ocean. yet there also might want to correctly be no mermaids because if there are mermaids they could have brains which they can use to strengthen their technologies and make ships or something to pass up with, (in the adventure that they stay deep deep down the sea)to the sea floor and characteristic wepons and different type of stuff that are resembling man or woman's technologies. yet this never handed off. in the adventure that they lived deep down the sea they could get squashed by way of water rigidity on them. And might want to mermaids have a faith? how do the get children? Do they lay eggs? What do they eat? how do they breath?those are all questions without n answer.
