Any reasonable solutions? How 'bout we just kick out all the bad spellers and grammar abusers and pretend they don't exist in this world.

That sounds totally reasonable to me.

..
We had better follow the Golden Rule.

Communication is the main thing; not the Grammar, nor the spelling as is made out to be. & not even the right usages.

Is it not blatant snobbishness & downright arrogance on our part to look down upon our fellow contributors suggesting harsher Nazi treatments?

Honest ideas, opinions & Views count most. Not the peripherals.

I feel this minor flaw has been hyped and blown out of proportion.

What are the worthwhile contributions of those with impeccable Grammar & amazing spelling sense vis-a-vis these bad spellers & grammatical novices?

None of the pseudo-reformers is any better!

let's see how if i can have good spelinng and gramor but it realy don't is be bothering me to[o] much becase i can be usually reading the answer as long as it's not to[o] bad.

honestly, i don't let it bother me because i understand that some people on here are from different countries and english is, perhaps, their second language. however, i don't think there is an excuse for the spelling errors since there is a wonderful tool that yahoo has provided--spell check. and no, i never capitalize on here; you're gonna have to deal with it. =)

If there are so many perfect people on Y/A why aren't you out solving the problems of the world instead of wasting your time here

I don't know...chop off their fingers??

Perhaps Yahoo is really conducting a covert operation to find the dumbest person on the planet with access to a computer. If they are then it is working wonderfully as we see many examples of people on here who should not be allowed near anything with qwerty keyboard....ever!

Don't know about the grammar but we could encourage people to use the spell checker more often.

Your one to talk. You forgot the "a" in about. Why do you care about someone's grammar? One suggestion if the question has that many grammatical errors then why not skip it. Are you the Y!A grammar police? I think not. Just mind your business and worry about your own questions and answers. You can only change yourself.
