If it's local, it's the same as a local call. If it's long distance, then long distance charges apply and are charged depending on how long the fax takes. It doesn't cost anything more than if you were making a voice call.

It's just like any other phone call. If it's long distance you get billed for however long it takes to send the fax. Usually like 1-2 minutes unless the fax is dozens of pages.
