Why dont we just quit the BSing around if you are not gonna be civilized like the rest of the world and all you want to do is destroy and create carnage then were just gonna have to drop a bomb and say goodbye. We have the technology right now to take over our soloar system. Not a problem. Lets quit fighting. start holding hands, giving each other big hugs and start taking care of business.

We are already in the process of becoming a technologically advanced civilisation and you must note that development is gradual not sudden. We experienced a technological renaissance in the 20th century and we are still having that upward trend.
To measure how advanced a civilisation is, we use the Kardashev scale. Type 1 civilisations make use of the entire energy of a single planet while a Type 2 civilisation makes use of the power of a whole star! A Type 3 civilisation can harness the power of a complete galaxy (a super advanced civilisation). We have not even reached Type 1 yet which shows how far we are to being really advanced. But you have to understand that we have come very far from neanderthal man. 10,000 years to come to our relatively advanced state is pretty fast considering that other species like dinosaurs lived on the planet for millions of years. I'm guessing that in another 200-300 years, we would become more advanced than a Type 1 civilisation. War will not destroy us because we have brains and common sense, we have lived in a nuclear age for nearly 60 years and a nuclear holocaust certainly did not happen. Nuclear holocaust is a term created by pessimistic doomsdayers and while there will be war and suffering, we will definitely not destroy humanity. The only way we can possibly become extinct is through a meteor strike or some unfortunate event in the universe.

we've already started the quest.
we've learned that traveling slower or even as fast as light is not going to get us far.
as far as technology goes, we DON'T have the power to take over the solar system.
I think we must turn to the smaller "inner space" known as quantum physics first before we venture deeper into space.
quantum physics allows quantum tunneling or "TELEPORTATION" if you wish. Faster than light travel.
Then the quest and/or bombing can continue full force.

lol, we don't have the technology to take over the solar system. it would take like a month of planning probably more just to send 1 missile to mars.
and are you saying "be nice or we'll kill you!" because thats what it sounds like, and its very hippocratic.
