she was once my best friend. we were not on good terms in graduating year. had graduated for 3 years already and have not keep in contact. will be seeing her at my friend's wedding soon. i'm worried we will be placed at the same table. how can i happily attend the dinner w/o feeling uneasy. help.:)

Let it go, Treat her like there was never a problem but if she is still upset with you first try to talk out your differences. If not oh well, it's just one day and just try to be there for your friend on her wedding day!

Everyone had good friends and they grew apart from each other. Are you feeling quilty for they way the friendship ended? It is to late to change anything now , so you speak and be friendly, and move on. Be yourself, it shouldn't matter if you are at the same table, if you where sitting with total strangers you would find something to talk about, so go and relax.

Whatever has happened in the past, it's done and gone. Move forward. Just be pleasant and polite when you see her. I'm sure you can find some sort of small talk to pass the time. If she's a mature person, she'll follow your lead in the interest of making the best of things. She may choose to be petty, she may choose to ignore you. In any case, just be your usual nice, gracious self and see what happens.
