For as many cheaters as there are out there, there are also many who are loyal, faithful. emotionally committed and deeply in love. It might be best to look at what makes relationships successful and follow this model-- too many folks look at why they fail and seldom develop the ability to make them work.

Unfortunately, so much cheating goes on and people feel the need to discuss it or need help getting through the pain of finding out. If people could only realize what they already have at home and try to fix problems or just leave and move on instead of cheating. It does seem our society uses so many excuses to cheat. I wonder all the time who we can really trust. I am not sure we can truly trust anyone.

Disappointed...yes. Surprised....not at all. I think the most disappointing part is that the individual posting the question believes he or she is doing nothing wrong. The married person believes they are in the right because their marriage is not the best. And of course the unmarried person cheating with the married person believes that since they are not married....it is not their fault. Disheartening really...

Sad to know but it seems there are more cheating stories and divorces than there are good old fashion marriages that work out and last for all the right reasons.Sure don't look very promising for the future couples.

It is not only disappointing, it's sad. Why would you marry someone if you are not 100% willing to commit yourself to only them. that just doesnt make sense to me... what the sense in spending the money on the wedding or having to deal with inlaws if you're gonna cheat... oh well. i can say that i am very happily married and i know that he is 100% committed to me as I am him. but it is still ver disappointing to knowthat there are so many ignorant people out there.

Yes, it is definitely disappointing. Lots of kids out there with parents who are messing around on each other. What has happened to the "family"? It's all about getting sex and never about creating security and stability for the kids. (sigh)

It's reality to me, they should re-name this section to "Married Problems".
I think it's interesting that the only people who chat here are in marriage trouble, the people who have good marriages don't have time to hang out here.

Most all the cheating stories are trolls. Can't you tell? A troll will probably be new, will have a hundred points or less, and the question will be far out or at least unusual.
