Have you looked into community college? You can usually live at home and the tution is usually less than a hundred dollars a credit hour.

Look at your public state universities. If that is still a little more than you can handle, look at in-state community or two year colleges. Once you complete your studies there, you should be able to transfer to a 4 year institution.
Do your research first and focus the eventual 4 year school. Talk to them and make sure they accept credits at full value from the community colleges you are considering before you sign up at the community one.
