At home I rest my cell phone near my computer speakers and near my TV. Sometimes the speakers make rhythmic noises just before my cell phone rings, and sometimes when it doesn't even ring.
Anybody know what this is?

It is probably caused by RF (Radio Frequencies) or EMF (ElectroMagnetic Field) interference and certain types of unshielded cables and/or wires.

Integrated circuits can collect interference, causing intermodulation, cross-modulation, rectification, and other electronic disturbances.

Weird Solution: Stop sounds by wrapping cell phone In Aluminum Foil .or. keep phones away from electronics.

Sidebar: I live very near a Radio Transmission Tower and my phone line picks-up voices that I can hear prior to me placing a phone call.

Mine does that, too. Also, the radio in my car "hums" just before the cell rings (if the cell is near the car radio).

I wish I knew what it was. My guess is that the cell phone emits a radio wave or some other type of frequency noise as it begins to ring, which interferes with the TV or radio.

Interference sound waves, static. Depends what your playing your speakers when phone is off, what the frequency range of those speakers?
