I think it is. Some kids either grow in their teeth first or walk first. A few of them are lucky to have both at the same time. I once had 2 friends who made fun of each other because one had a child that could walk but didn't have a single tooth and the other had a child that had a mothful of teeth but could not walk at all. Of course both kids are big boys now and can do both, you hardly ever find an adult without teeth, do you? So don't be worried, the teeth'll come. Also, note that boys are usually slightly slower in their development than girls. Hope this helps.

Perfectly normal. My son was VERY big... he was 38 lbs at only 10 months old, YES... 38 lbs!, he was and is a VERY big boy... his Daddy is 6'5". He also had almost a full set of teeth then as well. But my friends son is very small, at least in my opinion, and has no teeth at age 1 year. My point is... there is a WIDE spectrum of "normal".

Its absolutely normal!!! All babies go through different things at different times. We, as moms, have to realize that, I know I sometimes have a hard time when i know my friend's baby is doing something my son isn't. However, I know that she gets jealous that my son already has teeth and is a great sleeper and a big boy.
My son got his bottom 2 teeth at 6 months and weighed 20lbs at 6 months.

My son is 8.5 months and weighs 20lbs. so the weight for yours seems fine. As for teeth, it varies for every baby, but they say you will start seeing them, usually the bottom two first, sometime between 4 and 12 months. Mine has his two on the bottom and the two up top are just starting to poke thru the gums. My friend's baby, on the other hand, is a month older and doesn't have any teeth yet.

My daughter is 7 1/2 months and weighs 19lbs. She is just starting to get her bottom two teeth. One of them briefly poked through. Only your pediatrician will tell you if that weight is abnormal or if there seems to be a problem with his teeth not being developed. All I know is, every baby is different and everything develops at different times for all babies. If it really concerns you, on your next wellness visit, check with your pediatrician. =]
