He is leading all rushers.

The heisman is an individual award not a team one (even though Michigan is turning things around).

Yes, the heisman is an individual award,,,but how many losing teams have had heisman winners. I agree that Michigan is turning things around and they honestly have a great chance of winning the big ten. If they do indeed continue to win I think you will see mike's name in the heisman hunt more often.

I know the Heisman is not a team award but at the same time if you are on a championship caliber team and you are in a sense leading them then that ups your status. Mike hard has had a few mediocre games even though he might be leading rushers. Just ask Colt Brennan if the team matters in Heisman voting.

he should be, if he was excluded then that was wrong because he did put up good numbers and unlike most of the backs on that list mike hart was not even 100 percent against some teams (in health that is he played inured vs oregon), him not being considered for the heisman is some BS and i hate michigan but mike hart is a great player. He even blocks well

the award is given to players who help their team win, not the best individual performer, that's why heisman winners don't always do well in the nfl

Did you see his eyes when he guaranteed the game against Notre Dame? Straight out of his mind moron. Hey kid beat Ohio State once or win a bowl game. Hope he gets a good degree, he wont be playing on sundays next year.

Because he's on a cruddy team. To the guy who said mediocre games, i disagree, he has single handily defeated Penn State and Notre Dame. Against App. State they seemed to rely too much on Henne and the passing game. And, well, against Oregon Mich. was being beaten so badly they couldn't run the ball because they needed points badly.

Not hard when you are playing crappy teams (excluding Penn State). This year they were the victim of the worst upset in college football history, he doesn't deserve anything for letting that happen.
