Would you still love them? Would it be a turn off? Would you leave? Would you stay and hope for an open relationship? If your partner was suddenly thin and much healthier, but no longer heavy, curvy, or "volutptuous", how would that affect you?

If I was a chubby chaser, I would feel threatened by my partner's improved self image that goes along with a healthier outlook. It would spotlight my own insecurities. For example, if I had real deep seated insecurities, I might seek out someone who made me feel good about myself, consiously or not, I would. Consider it's not the excess weight that is attractive, it is a percieved weakness that could make me feel strong, powerful, more attractive...just a thought, I could be totally wrong.

Though I have a decided preference for fat partners I don't consider myself a chubby chaser. I've dated a wide range of people from slender to obese with most of my partners being on the large side. But others might and since you've gotten no REAL answers from anybody who seems to prefer fat partners here is my take on your question.

My love for my partner is not dependant on their body size, so If they were to lose weight I would not stop loving them. I would admit that my desire to have sex with them might diminish but since I identify as a poly person finding another fat lover is always a possiblity.

And if my partner was suddenly thin without any effort on thier part to become so I'd make them see a doctor before the weight loss became severe. Sudden changes in weight [up or down] with no effort is usally a sign that there is a health problem.

I would still love my partner if they lost the weight. Bottom line is that you fall in love with the person, not the sex, sexuality, or aesthetics.

When you start seeing someone you are attracted to them physically, but if that changed for any reason one would think that you'd love them for them. You know unconditionally!!
