This is my website - http://www.layouts.chachasplace.com

It looks PERFECT in FF2 and IE7 ........ My husband just tried to look at it in IE6 and it's all messed up and I don't understand why!

Can someone please help. I've looked through the code about 100 times and even tried an HTML Validator, which I don't even understand the results of!

I'd hate to have people come to my site and it's all messed up like this!

Try to validate the CSS, just a quick look tells me your style sheet is not what you really want.

I also noticed when I viewed the CSS with Firefox developer tools. I found this at the bottom
ERROR rcm.amazon.com invalid url

Now that may be temporary but do you really want to link to them for your css or just include the css you want.

There are several things that simply are not compatible between IE6 IE7 Opera, Firefox, etc. These are documented and workarounds are listed in the tutorials from many places. So the best I can do for you is tell you to look up some of those. Here is a good start

Wish I had a simple answer but I don't.. maybe someone will.
Personally I never use that many FIXED/absolute locations, they usually don't work out well.
