perhaps, but consider the mental changes too that both partners go through. Psychologically, what kept the person one way physically, may have met some need in the other person's psyche.

No, not a deal breaker. It is not a valid reason just an excuse

Are you asking if it would be an ethical deal breaker? Sure....why not? You married them hoping they were going to continue taking care of themselves like they had been prior to being married, and if they don't care enough about themselves or you to put some effort into their looks, it's hurtful that they simply don't care enough to take some action.

I wonder if a spouse suddenly gains a grand amount of weight, then why? Why did they get fat? Why did they get skinny? So, if it impacts your relationship, then you need to work on it. I wonder how good your relationship was to start.

I think that maybe that person should see a doctor that might be a problem with their thyroid and I also think that you should talk to them frist and make sure that they are not depressed because that too can cause weight loss or gain no that should not make you want to end your relationship because if you do than you are petty

No, remember your vows "for better or for worse". In God's eyes, the only valid reasons for divorce are infidelity and physical abuse.

Did you marry them only for their body? If your wedding vows were, "Until you drastically change your body shape do we part", then go ahead and get divorced.

If the change was only in appearance no way. You wouldn't if you really love them and are commited.
