Gregor Johann Mendel was an Austrian Agustinian priest & scientist often called “father of modern genetics” for his study for inheritance of traits of pea plant.Mendel showed that inheritance of traits follow particular laws,which were name after him.The significance of Mendel's work has not recognised until the turn of 20th century.It rediscovery prompted the foundation of genetics.

I was inspired by his work,which plays a major role of work in today's science industries.

Mendel's attraction to research was based on his love of nature. He was not only interested in plants, but also in meteorology and theories of evolution. Mendel often wondered how plants obtained atypical characteristics.
