2>there was debate about the powers of the states as opposed to the powers of the central government
3>there was debate about the title of the commander in chief(ranging from Your Highness to Your Imperial Majesty, until they settled on Mr. President)
4>there were representatives from 13 different colonies all of which wanted thier colony to have advantages the others did not get
5>there was debate about state militias vs a national defense force
