How can they be collected? Just masturbation or can it be intercourse with a regular ol' latex condom?? I have a specimen cup from my Dr. for my fiance but I think he's a little nervous.. any tips?? Thanks Ü

Can you start out with intercourse and just "pull out" to get the semen in the specimen cup? Or will that mess up the sample?

I'd say masturbation and steer clear of condoms but I dont see there any problem with you helping him if he's nervous.

While semen can be collected from a condom via regular intercourse, it requires a special condom you're likely to only get from the doctor's office.
Additionally, he should have ideally abstained for the previous 2-3 days.

Definitely go the masturbation route. Something from the condom (power during testing, the gloves that people wear when making) could get in the sample and make it hard to read. Just tell him to imagine something fun, or ..offer him some porn?
