I sometimes hear a song on the radio that I like, but they never mention what song it is afterwards. Is this done to prevent listeners from obtaining the songs, to try and hold them "captive" to the radio stations?
I deliberately avoid listening to the radio for this reason, partly to avoid having to wonder where a song came from, but mainly out of spite.
I've heard that sometimes they list the songs after every three, but why would they do that? Maybe some people don't have time to listen to three songs.
