for school we have spirit week and one day all the seniors have to dress like people did in the 70's. Does anyone know of any websites with good pictures or any ideas in general? thanks :)

A lot of the styles were the same as what you have now. Wide-bell jeans but a little higher on the waist. Maybe a smock top. Platform shoes.
Or if you want to look different, try straight-legged corduroys with a turtleneck and a blazer or crochet vest. I remember wearing Dr. Scholls, Earth Shoes or jogging shoes.
Or how about a polyester dress with a wide elastic belt!

Think bell bottoms, platforms, bold patterns, mini skirts, bright colours, flowers, peace signs, side burns, round sunglasses etc.

In the 70's most teenager's wore flared pants and bright colored shirts.They also wore shirts with a flowery design's on it.The shoes worn were platform heels for both girls and boys.

never wear any long dress or skirt because of my elevation, it makes you look shorter and fatter.
