The top rated three (USC, LSU & Oklahoma) should have no real problem this weekend but the following games could to be very interesting. Do you agree with my analysis? If not, please provide your view...

Auburn @ #4 Florida - Most believe that Auburn is better than they've shown in their recent games. Florida could be caught looking ahead and may be vulnerable to an upset.

#5 W. Virginia @ #18 Florida - This is the first real test of the year for WV and Florida wants to prove to everyone that they belong in the top echelon. Because of the home field, I think this is a toss-up.

#6 California @ #11 Oregon - Similar to the WV Florida match-up, these two teams want to prove that they are worthy of national recognition. This will also go down to the wire. Too bad that one of 'em has to lose.

#13 Clemson @ Georgia Tech - Is Clemson for real? This game will decide.

Michigan State @ #9 Wisconsin - Is Wisconsin overrated and should MSU be in the top 25? This game will tell.

That's West Virginia at South Florida tomorrow night.

I don't think Florida is looking ahead, especially after their so-so performance in Oxford last week. Expect the Gators to smack Auburn around pretty good.

I also don't believe home field is that big of an advantage for South Florida. West Virginia remembers last year's upset, and the Bulls won't catch anyone by surprise now. Close game, but WVU pulls away at the end to win by 14.

California may not have an answer for Dennis Dixon, and they haven't won in Autzen in 20 years. Oregon by 10.

I don't necessarily think Clemson's as good as their ranking, and Georgia Tech has really tanked it the past two weeks, with losses to Virginia and BC. Prepare for an upset.

Wisconsin has not looked good since the Wazoo win, and MSU, like Purdue, has really flown under the radar in going 4-0. Winner will be the first one to 20.

well here goes.... i have florida beating auburn by 14. florida just has too many weapons and too much quickness on d for auburn especially in florida's house

west virginia over s florida by 6

oregon will beat cal in a very close game and this might possibly be the best game in the country this year. neither team has all the weapons they need to stop the others offense. oregon has a significantly better secondary and they play much nastier on special teams and i think that will be the key. look for possible ncaa records for yardage passing, rushing, completions, and possibly score. i say oregon by 3 and very good chance of overtime.

i pick georgia tech in an upset over clemson. i just think that georgia is just starting to gell on both sides of the ball and they are a very hard team to beat at home. g tech by 6

and wisconson will have no problems at all with michigan state. the badgers will dominate winning by 20

GO DUCKS QUACK DAMNIT!!!

My take was that schemes without great players don't win you games (Michigan found that out), that Texas A&M should be ashamed of themselves (for losing to an FCS school), and teams like Ohio State should consider playing only their backups against cupcake teams in week 1 (or not play cupcakes at all - losing Beanie Wells while playing against Youngstown State was smart, wasn't it?) My final take on yesterday's games was this: The NCAA needs to quit ranking teams before they've even played a game. Obviously Pitt and Va Tech aren't nearly as good as they were ranked before they played anyone. The best team NEVER loses - otherwise why keep score? The fact that BGSU and East Carolina beat two "ranked" teams wasn't shocking to me because rankings before week 1 mean nothing.
