Well I personally don't give a squat about famous people. They are human's just like the rest of us, they just spend their lives in front of cameras. As for their decisions outside of the spotlight, again, they are human and they have the right to make their own mistakes. Personally, I would prefer not to hear about them, which is why I don't watch the tele.

Power attracts a certain type - and fame does bring power, no doubt about it.
The world might be a better place if fourteen year olds emulated people who excelled as plumbers... that's not the planet *I* live on, though...
Actors, actresses, musicians, football players - did I miss anyone? Politicians... authors... comedians...
I guess the people I'd like my children to emulate would be comedians. See the whole thing, and laugh a bit. That'll do.

The decisions that they make outside of the spotlight aren't really any of our business, unless they somehow directly affect us(that's not likely to happen).

Who really cares? They are human just like us. Just because they are famous and have all kinds of bread doesn't mean they can't be like us and do the things we do and make the decisions we make. I say just leave them alone and let them live there lives without being chased down the street by a mob of cameras.

In all actuality, if they're truly out of the spotlight then the chances of us "normal folk" hearing about it should be slim to none.

I feel their personal lives are their business, but if they use their influence as a celebrity to help a good cause, such as charities or the environment, I applaud them completely. When they do things that show them up as being irresponsible and stupid, I have no desire to see them in any production.
