Anyone had success faking job experience? How about creating postions with firms that were bought out?

I'm trying to utilize skills I possess or have learned, but don't happen to have worked with on the job.

Whether you learn in from classes, previous jobs, or self taught, that's fine. But flat out lying, wouldn't recommend it due to what you might be trained on.
