i've heard of it only a few times, and not so sure there is something actually like this, but it's where you sit down with a piece of paper and a pencil, and are able to just completely go blank; center yourself, and you just write and draw, not knowing what comes out. i dunno if that makes any sense, and i'm sorry if it don't, but i've been wanting to know if you can tell me what this is called, and where i can learn more (if it exists at all) . i've always had trouble writing, and wanted to know if this could help.

thanks!

Free association writing, stream of consciousness writing. Sigmund Freud is known for it.

You write whatever you think, no exceptions, after all, no one see's this but you, then eventually, as you continue writing, you're brain kind of unfolds what's REALLY on your mind, or a memory that you've repressed for some reason. I'm not sure if it will help you with writing, but it's nice if you want to get things off your mind and kind of release your frustration.

If you need help writing you should try using new words everyday (expand your vocabulary), and eventually those words will make your way into your sentences, making it (hopefully) sound more exciting and better than before. When you like the way that you write (sentence-structure wise) you are more inclined to write, and it'll show in your essays, journal, and the way you speak. It's kind of a process you have to develop over years.

Stream of consciousness? Or are you referring to the spooky stuff that ouija boards and other "psychic" experiences suggest? This latter is fake or uses the forces of evil for finding meaning. Not recommended, if you want to stay sane and normal!
