No, he was actually critical of anti-Semitism in letters written to his sister. The tools who link Nietzsche to Hitler do so because Ad Hominem 's are easier and less dangerous to their dogmatic thought structure than actual critical evaluation.

No. And it's just a damned shame that Hitlers bunch twisted his writings to make it appear that he was and then used them as 'justification' for the extermination of Jews.
If you actually -read- Zarathustra you'll see that he isn't even a supremecist. He simply says that the human race is coming up on another period of enlightenment in which 'der Ãbermensch' (which always seems to be incorrectly translated as 'Superman' instead of 'better man') will become the norm rather than the exception.
He is very good reading.

To fully understand the'man you must first understand the context of the life and times of the man. Some emminent people Darwinism presumed Superior dominance of white people, the weakness of the genetically disabled, the mentally ill etc- they were seen as merely as pissing in the genetic swimming pool! Look not so much at his ideas-albeit manipulated by (still is) DICTATORS...look underneath... how did he come to the conclusion of his 'Superman ' theory. Or did ADOLPH ruin it for him by association? Was he the the forerunner of human evolution? Some contemporary scientists OBSERVE today what he predicted years ago!!Or are we trapped into a white middle class conscious stricken liberalism that constrains us from following SCIENCE?

No, but many people didn't really understand his 'superman' metaphor and used it to justify racism, most notably Hitler.
