no, not at all. when you give them out early it gives people a chance to clear their calender. i think it is rude to give them out last minute because its like your assuming they will drop their plans to go to your party or they might feel that your assuming that they have nothing better to do.

Give them out as early as you like, just don't forget to remind your guests closer to the date.

I don't think so...the sooner the better. Halloween is a pretty celebrated holiday and people try to make plans. You want them to come to your party so send them :o)
