One million dollars is a drop in the bucket but if we took steps to put more money in the hands of people they could afford to buy that music instead of pirating it. For example, lets stop sending money to other countries and spend it here. remember we put Hussein in power, also Castro and who knows what others. If we spent a million to stop pork barrel legislation we would all have more money. We all spending millions on Katrina clean up, in theory, but it is going to political party supporters miles north of the damaged area to build million dollar condoes that Katrina victims couldn't afford before, let alone now.
If we send the same effort to solve those problems as we do catching piraters, we would all be better off by far.

If you were an Artist in the entertainment industry you would be asking why they don't do something to stop those people illegally stealing and selling your work because you are not making the royalty monies owed to you. Basically it's like someone coming to your job and stopping by the office to deduct some money out of your paycheck even though they didn't work.

Part of me says," it's my creation, if you want it, I'll sell it to you."
The other half is disgusted with the entertainment industry for feeding us the same old slop anyway.
No, as stated above, 1 million isn't that much do-ra-mi.
