Well it's rarely on over here but "It's A Wonderful Life" is certainly the one for me - I don't like any of the versions of "A Christmas Carol" much - that is best read and I try to do that every year!

I don't think there is a BEST Christmas film; it's according to taste. There are a lot of great Christmas movies and animated specials and specials. I have to watch A Christmas Carol every year. I like the Alastair Sim version (he's the best Scrooge), the Patrick Stewart version and the George C. Scott version. Another movie I always watch is It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart. If you can find it, my favorite short is Mr. Krueger's Christmas with Jimmy Stewart. That is so good!
Honorable Mention: Miracle on 34th Street; White Christmas; The Wish List; Ebbie; The Christmas Box; One Magic Christmas; A Hobo's Christmas; Secret Santa; Silent Night (Linda Hamilton); Christmas in Connecticut (Barbara Stanwyck); A Charlie Brown Christmas...and many others!

A Christmas Carol starring Allistar Sim (the best Scrooge ever) .The black and white film captures all the mood of the story.Black and white just seems more dramatic. I also enjoy The Christmas Story. It makes me laugh so much regardless of how many times I've watched it.From the dad's temper, the boy's tongue frozen to the pole, the bunny p.js, the department store Santa , the flat tire on the car , the bully scenes ( and his come upance), the little brother stuffed like a sausage in his winter clothes.I can hardly wait for Christmas. Well almost.

I watch 'It's a Wonderful Life' every year. I like the sentimentality of the movie.
For fun and laughs- I watch "A Christmas Story" I know it's on 24/7 starting Christmas Eve, but it's a lot of fun!
For tradition, I like "A Christmas Carol" my favorite Scrooges are Alistair Sim, Patrick Stewart and George C. Scott.
