ties are for guys. I think that ties were invented by Turks that came on Balkan peninsula (thats what I heard) and MEN were wearing those ties. thats not for girls. I saw many girls in movies wearing a tie as a part of a school uniform. why they have to wear that? its for guys. its like if a guy is wearing a girly top.

then guys should wear skirts or anything thats more typical for females, because girls are wearing ties and they are typical for males. many male scottish people wear skirts, so why not?

skirts to boys

there has to be a difference between genders!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or they wanna turn every girl into a guy?????? girls have a right to feel feminine, so I will be a rebel and forbid wearing ties. they are even dangerous!!!!!!!! many people even suffocated because of ties.

You are misinterpreting whta the uniform is all about. A school uniform, with or without a tie (and there are plenty of schools where the tie has become more feminine), is a mark of identity and pride for the wearer. It also makes getting up and ready for school a BREEZE. No need to choose and wish that something was clean when it isn't!!

And as you say, the Scots wear kilts and the Greeks wear togas and the Burmese wear their identifying outfits.

Get a life. go travel and see what others are wearing and finding comfortable.

Ties shmies.

Uniforms are bull. George Carlin's own summary:

"...It's not a new idea. I first saw it on old newsreels back in the 1930s, but it was kind of hard to understand because the narration was in German!"

I don't think they should have to, and neither should the guys. If they want to, then good for them. I don't care how they dress.

You say 'there has to be difference between the genders'. The differences don't depend on what we wear, men and women will always be different-we don't have to depend on clothing to define that.

And you asked about feminism, true feminism supports choice and equalty.
