A national embarrassment where we don't focus enough on some incompetent law enforcement leaders. If I was in my first day in law enforcement it would have taken me 5 seconds to decide to send in a tac team.... and the other agencies would have had to physically stop my tac team.
It also doesn't just show changes in today's kids, it also shows that kids can hide their secret hobbies and crazy ideas with someone else without talking about them out loud.. and it's harder for parents to have a clue... from all indications the parents of the monsters might have been good people... oh yeah... they probably should have known about the timeless issue of a weapons stash...

Well if some things were not ignored when children are very young these sort of things are going to happen. The columbine boys were apparently bullied which is no excuse but the dang schools just make it worse by wanting to talk it out. Making the victim confront the bully only makes it worse not better. People need to pay closer to their childrens mental states. The Columbine boys had all sorts of stuff in their rooms. Some parents think their kids deserve privacy? I hear parents say it all the time. Not as long as I am paying their bills . I will go in their room whenever I dang well please and snoop. I will snoop on them via internet and IM. Both tragic events and sadly I do not think lessons were learned from them enough.

That's a tough one..let me think about it........ Idiotic kids on a mission of mass destruction should be shot on site!! I don't know about you but I'm all for the teachers being armed and ready for whatever crackpot they have to put up with, not to mention the safety of everyone else.

If all adults were allowed to carry (open or concealed) without the constant threat of being hassled by law enforcement most of those people would still be alive.
