Why do you care what other people think? It's your baby and your choice on what to name her.

I like the name Holly for a winter baby. I picture a little girl with long brown hair and a red velvet dress. Every Holly I have ever known has been very sweet, too.

Holly is my sister's name! I think it's so cute, especially if the baby is going to be born around Christmastime. My name is Noelle and my sister and I were both born around Christmas, hence the "Christmas-y" names.
I've only met 2 people named Holly in my life, one of which being my sister.
I think it's a unique name but it's not too off-the-wall, and it's the type of name you'll grow to adore!

I love the name Holly. Great choice. The two women that I knew that had that name were a credit to it (they are probably in their 40s now).

I think it is such a pretty girl name!
I have a friend who was born on Dec 21st and her name is Holly. She doens't like it because being born in dec {x-mas month} and getting called Holly isn't funny to her.
I like it spelt Hollie though.

Love it! I really don't think it's all that common. It is classic though! It sounds so feminine and cheerful! I have only known a couple of Holly's and liked them both. Also, Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's! You don't get more classic than that!
