This article describes a study of whether kids spend too much time online. With certain stats, it shows that mothers worry more about fathers about the content of websites and what their kids do online. And, though some parents believe that their kids are wasting more time online, taking away from time to be outdoors and exercising, majority of parents also think that the internet has been a great source of homework help for their kids.

btw- there's no way you could give me 30 pts. that's impossible. but i'm a student too. i realize that sometimes, you just need a break and a bit of help. so, hope you get a good grade on that test! i've definitely been where you're at

crap but...

Kids spend too much time on the internet article is about how parents believe computers and websites like myspace is getting out of control. Some scary statistics show how much parents disaprove of the internet and don't trust their kids with it. As it is a short article it doesn't go into great detail but one of the most contriversal ideas is "One in four parents think that online time has kept their kids from exercising and going outdoors". This article doesn't say it's specific to america but it obviously applys to americans today. Many people talk about this issue and this essay really highlighted some general arguments.

In today's day and age the convince of having things at your finger tips can be a double edged sword. At least according to parents. Recent studies suggest that up 85% of parents that took part in a survey believe that their childeren (between the ages of 6 and 18) spend way too much time online. As for content that is still up for discussion. Dads worry about the time, and Moms tend to worrk about content. But one thing they could both agree on is that they are both glad that their kids understand current events and do homework better.

Many parents think their kids spend too much time online. And just in case you needed an official study to confirm the obvious, non-profit Common Sense Media recently teamed with educational foundation Cable in the Classroom to survey parents about their kids and the Web. The survey reached out to 411 parents of children age six to 18 and asked a whole host of questions regarding their children's Internet habits. Mothers worry more about the content of Web sites than fathers do
On the bright side, four out of five parents responded that they believe the Internet helps their children with homework, understanding current events and expressing creativity.

Big test or not you need to learn to do your own damn homework. Stop being so lazy.

EDIT:

For those of you summarizing for her all you're doing is ENABLING her to cheat. Seriously, I hope her instructor catches on and FAILS her which is what she deserves.
