i was stoned on grass once
and two police knocked at the door
i see them from the kitchen
got on my hands and knees and shuffled back to the armchair,i was terrified to move for ages and all the time
my dog was standing near my head barking loud
i couldnt shush him up because i need to deepen my voice and raise it in volume to get him to listen
i became a paranoid scared bandit for a hour
it felt like as if all the major unsolved crimes in the world were my doing~lol
and no more funny faggs for me since

All the time. Once it was the police, and I tried to find a room with no windows lol. No luck. So I went into my room and sat low to the floor. Until they went to my back door which is right outside my bedroom window. So then, I crept quietly into the middle of the living room floor and sat with my legs folded. Hoping they wouldn't see me somehow. There were 2 cop cars, so I know that's no good lol. They claimed it was over some false report made by some local girls, saying I was making harrassing phone calls to them or something. I'll never know what it was really about. But one thing is certain. More than one police car, I'm not home.

Yes, when it,s trick or treat time. Unluckily for me I cannot recognise who,s at the front door because of the pattern of the glass on the front door so, sometimes I have a problem getting rid of unwelcome callers. If it,s dark I always use the safety latch or not bother at all.

Often, anyone who knocks on the door early in the morning is ignored! I'm not going to drag myself out of bed looking like sin, run all the way down the stairs and embarrass myself in front of some poor postman before I remember the inconvenient holes in my jarmas... oh the memories!

Yes, and thinking of it even now makes me laugh. When I was about eight I was home alone and a construction worker of some sort rang the doorbell. Before she left, my mother had instructed me never to answer the door while I was alone.
On first instinct, I ran to the door to answer it, but stopped short of pulling it open when I recalled my mother's warning. I immediately dropped to the ground like some sort of spy to avoid the worker seeing me in the window, and scurried, hunch-backed, upstairs to call my best friend for advice on this situation. Unfortunately, my friend was not there so I resorted to asking her dad for advice. I admitted that I was too scared to call my mother on her cell to see if I should open the door, so my friend's dad called instead.
A few minutes later, he called back and informed me that it was fine: This worker was here to work on the house. I then scurried back downstairs to let the worker in only to find that he had gone.

My wife and I once parked the car in the garage and told each other's family that we were spending Thanksgiving with the other. We just didn't want all the drama that year. But for whatever reason her mother still came over and knocked. Luckily we had the blinds down and the TV down low.

Lots of times. Last time yesterday, I have a feeling it was the meter reader man and I really should have let him in but I was sinking down into sleep after a nightshift and there was no way I was going to waken myself up again.

yes i did....a few times...someone who makes herself comfortable and does not leave till i am turning out the lights and putting on my dressing gown....she is here from morning till night with her kids and it became too much, i couldn't get anything done, it caused problems between me and my partner, also i could not afford to feed her and her kids all day every day, in the end i had to tell her to call me first to see if i was home, i do have a answering machine, so i used to let the machine take her call...eventually i went and had a word with her about it and she does not call her as much as she used to, but yes i have hid when she's called round....

All the time. Unless someone's rung ahead to say they're coming or I'm expecting a delivery or whatever.
Unexpected visitors WANT things!

Yes, anyone wearing office clothes and brandishing a clipboard, they will be trying to sell Me either a new broadband provider, Satellite tv, or they'll offer to sell My house for Me. I also blank scruffy ethnic types as they usually try to sell their art.
