I installed a computer game but it wont let me play it!!!?

I installed a game and axtive x as well, but when i push play a box pops up and says your game has encountered an unexpected error and has crashed. What do I need to do?

Google the minimum system requirements for the game and see if your computer meets them. If it does go to the game's website and look for any patches there might be. Also install the latest video drivers.If you downloaded it online I'd be careful downloading "games" and activex controls online as thats a good way to download a virus instead of a game!
